I have also compared its fiber and protein information below to the regular nuts that we snack on – almond and peanuts.

The table above shows that, yes, Sacha Inchi has a superior fiber and protein characteristics compared to almonds and peanuts.
I got my packet from Trader Joes’s at a more reasonable price than the online cost, but it is still one costly seed. It tastes fine, I have nothing against it.
On the other hand, I am not going to sing praises for its taste either. I can describe it as a chewing on a fibrous almond + roasted soy bean kind of taste.
Bottom line – For vegetarians and vegans who have limited omega-3 options in chia seeds, flax seeds and walnuts, this is a good addition.
If you are very watchful of your fat/protein intake, this will also fit your requirements. But, if you are a person, whose taste buds rule supreme, buy a smaller packet before you commit to a larger one.
